For the Souper Bowl of Caring Sunday, held on February 7, 2010, our Youth Group collected 759 canned goods through the congregational collection and the price of admission to the Souper Bowl Tailgate Luncheon they held that day. They were in a friendly competition with eight other Lutheran churches and our youth collected the most cans of all of them. The canned goods were divided among the area food banks.
